QuantLab

A self-contained Chrome extension that brings a Python quant and ML research library into the browser. There is no server and no remote code, so research data never leaves your machine.

How it works
01

Load prices, returns or factor data from a local file.

02

Run Python quant and ML routines inside the browser.

03

Inspect the results and export them as tables or charts.

Method
Problem

Quick quantitative checks often mean switching to a full Python environment or uploading data to a hosted notebook.

Method

The extension packages a Python quant and ML library that runs entirely in the browser. Statistics, model fitting and portfolio construction run without a server and without fetching remote code.

Inputs

CSV or JSON files of prices, returns or factors.

Outputs

Statistics, model fits, portfolio weights and charts, with CSV export.

Stays on your machine

Data, code and results. Nothing is sent over the network to be computed.

Limits

Browser memory caps the size of a dataset, and heavy models run more slowly than native Python.
